AMC Decides To Cancel The Continuation Of ‘Rubicon’

The drama series, Rubicon, revolves around an intelligence assessor, who functions at a national think tank located in New York City that is referred to as the American Policy Institute (API). This intelligence analyst gradually commences to discover that he may be operating with the persons of a secret society that stage-manages international developments on a grand scale. Rubicon made its debut in August this year.
It has now been divulged that AMC has cancelled the continuation of Rubicon. One of the rationales being tossed around is that the first season of Rubicon was a rather dull one. It had an average of 1.6 million spectators and a drippy 439,000 adults in the age group of 18-49. The program has obtained a mixed response from the critics, with some praising its sophisticated storytelling and the others criticizing it for its sluggishness and lack of action.
AMC has released a statement about the cancellation of Rubicon. AMC has mentioned that it is delighted that it got the privilege to telecast Rubicon. AMC showered acclaim upon the creators of Rubicon by stating that they were components of an extraordinarily competent program. AMC has divulged that Rubicon provided it an opportunity to put forth an intellectually opulent and gripping story. The resolution to cancel Rubicon was a difficult one but it had to be taken keeping in mind the welfare of AMC.
Rubicon consisted of actors such as James Dale, Arliss Howard and Miranda Richardson and was produced by Warner Horizon Television.
The initial two dramas of AMC happen to be Mad Men and Breaking Bad, which have been declared as total successes and have been lauded by the critics. They have performed efficiently vis-à-vis their TRPs. AMC also had a limited series, The Prisoner, which was only allowed to have a solitary run. The freshest series of AMC happens to be The Walking Dead, which has been widely admired by the reviewers and has engendered favorable TRPs. It has been given the go-ahead for a second season.
