Los Angeles, Nov 12 (THAINDIAN NEWS) AMC has cut off the series “Rubicon” from the network after just one season. The show premiered on the 1st of August this year. That is such a bad news for those fans who fell in love with the series.

AMC announced in a statement that the second season of the show is not coming up and the company did not offer much explanation on why that was necessary. The statement said that, “Rubicon gave us an opportunity to tell a rich and compelling story, and we’re proud of the series. This was not an easy decision, but we are grateful to have had the opportunity to work with such a phenomenally talented and dedicated team”.

It is however rumored that the severance of the contract to buy the next season of the drama was influenced by the series inability to catch on with a larger audience. The show is shown right after one on AMC’s blockbuster series “Mad Men” but it seems the series failed to take advantage of that and pick on the numbers.

The series is produced by Warner Horizon TV and it features James Badge Dale, Arliss Howard and Miranda Richardson.
