Nov 9, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Amber Tamblyn is now on a roll with her new project. The young actress will now star in the popular serial “House”, to play the role of a third year medical student, Martha Masters.

Her role begins when Cuddy feels that his team needs a female doctor. She would take the place of Olivia Wilde’s character, “Thirteen”, as she has taken a short break from the show in order to make a movie. Initially, Amber Tamblyn was quite hesitant about playing a doctor as she had no clue about this whole field. To her, a medical show was not meaty enough. However, when she consulted her friends, she came to know about the popularity of this show, which she had never watched before and she finally agreed to play Martha Masters to get a new experience. Now she is so excited and confident about her medical skills that she feels that she can come to her friends’ help if they fall sick. However, this comment was just a joke as she knows nothing about medical sciences. Infact, she does not even feel like doing the slightest research during her work. All she does is, find out the meaning of the difficult terms as she goes through the script, which is almost 90% of it.

However, apart from the terms, she is confident about portraying the character of a doctor, as Martha Masters is very similar to a very close friend of hers, who is also a medical student. She describes her character as “intellectually brilliant and socially awkward.” However, the incorporation of Amber Tamblyn brings an air of fresh breathe to the show as it was getting to blunt and dull, as it recently lost most of its female characters.
