Los Angeles, Feb 16 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Producers of Glee have revealed that the special Valentine episode was planned way before the death of Whitney Houston. Star Amber Riley covered Houston’s highly successful song “I Will Always Love You,” during the episode.

The signature song, which was originally written by Dolly Patton, has become the choicest one for performers who pay tribute to the late singer. Jennifer Hudson first paid tribute to the 48-year-old during the Grammys when she sang the song.

Houston was found dead in her hotel room last Saturday. There has been no cause of death although the coroner’s office has completed the autopsy studies on the body. Investigators say they will only make the details available after the toxicology studies are completed.

The body of Houston has been moved to her hometown of Newark, NJ where the funeral has been planned for Saturday. Several celebrities are expected to attend the event which is expected to be a private one. Attendance to the event is strictly by invitation.

After the Valentine episode, the producers paid tribute to the singer when they gave the line “Whitney Houston 1963-2012. We will always love you.”
