Amber Heard Comes Out Of Her Closet At GLAAD Event

Dec 7, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation society celebrated its 25th anniversary on Friday Harmony Gold Theatre in Los Angeles where many known faces of the entertainment industry graced the occasion to be a part of the event. Actress Amber Heard chose this event as the perfect time to come out of her closet and she appeared in the event with her girlfriend Tasya van Ree. The “Hidden Palms” actress said that she decided that the occasion was the perfect time for her to open up about her personal life.
Amber Heard told the media outlets that when she became aware of the media she asked herself a question if she is the part of the problem of the society. However, she said that she felt was the part of society’s problem but she could not stand by the injustice she was doing to herself. Amber Heard explained that by not admitting her sexual orientation she was in a mental turmoil and at the same time she felt that it was a bad thing to be a gay. The actress said that she personally believes if someone denies or hides something for a long time, that person is in a way admitting that the whole thing is wrong.
“The Joneses” actress said that she feels by coming out she has done nothing wrong and now she can be true to herself and to the world. Amber Heard said that she feels millions of people all over the world who admits their true sexual orientation are not wrong because they are born this way and have all the right to find the love of their life. Amber Heard and Tasya van Ree are dating since 2008 and the actress said that it is because of GLAAD she could discuss about her personal life.
