Los Angeles, Mar 12 (THAINDIAN NEWS) According to reports, the ‘Sex and the City’ star Sarah Jessica Parker is now going to play a major role in the Linda Lovelace film. Prior to her, Demi Moore was going to essay that part but due to her marital troubles, she was diagnosed with depression and exhaustion, so she had no option but to quit the movie.

It wasn’t easy to rope in Sarah Jessica Parker for the role, but the deed was done when actress Amanda Seyfried stepped in to convince her. Now the fashion conscious star is all set to portray the character of Gloria Steinem in the Linda Lovelace biopic.

Amanda said that, “(Moore) was ill so she couldn`t show up. When we found out she wasn`t coming to work, we were just like, shit! But the fact is, she couldn`t come so we had to find somebody else and so I emailed Sarah Jessica Parker. I feel like (casting is important) when it comes from a personal point, everything`s so business-y and you have to find some kind of connection in this business if you want to get what you want. It worked - something happened - she came, she showed up a couple days later. And she is in this role”.
