Los Angeles, Mar 28, (THAINDIAN NEWS) If you have heard about a “Mamma Mia” sequel in Hollywood then you must have heard it from Amanda Seyfried. Well, at least the Mamma Mia star has confessed that she had gone ahead to have started rumors about the makers of Mamma Mia planning for a sequel. The obvious reason behind this? Amanda Seyfried claims that she had always longed to re-portray her role of Sophie in Mamma Mia which has its elements of inspiration drawn from songs of Abba and she went ahead in spreading the rumor all round the corners of Hollywood.

Amanda Seyfried said that she had once heard from someone in the industry that Mamma Mia Director Phyllida Lloyd was working on a follow up series but the plan never gained grounds with reality. However, she has finally declared that there shall be no Mamma Mia sequel and that even if the film makers do come up with such an idea, the total cast will be replaced.

Reportedly, Dominic Cooper who was also a part of the movie playing the male lead opposite to Amanda Seyfried, has confirmed the fact. Dominic Cooper and Amanda Seyfried are also taking their reel-life chemistry to real life chemistry as the two have been seeing each other for a long time now. The actor has been talking to director Phyllida Lloyd and the director has supposedly said there is no such plan for a sequel to be filmed. Even Pierce Brosnan has said that the sequel is not going to happen.
