London, Mar 18 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Amanda Holden would be returning to her role on the Britain’s Got Talent show on Mother’s Day.

The 40-year-old recently lost her unborn baby and she spent six weeks out of the public view after the tragedy. The miscarriage was the second suffered by Amanda in less than a year. Her son was stillborn on the 1st of February to the frustration of herself and her husband, Chris Hughes. The couple has a daughter- 5-year-old Lexi- together.

The executives at Britain’s Got Talent announced that they were very hopeful that Amanda would be strong and make the appearance on Mother’s Day. Mother’s Day seems the most likely time that Amanda could make the return on the show.

A source at ITV1 told The Sun that, “Knowing Amanda, she’ll never let the show down. It will also give fans a chance to boost her.”

Simon Cowell would be returning for the finals of the show as well and according to the source quoted by The Sun, that is a delight to Amanda. Amanda is a good friend of Cowell and the source further said that, “They’re close, he can hold her hand if she has a wobble.”
