Allyce Beasley makes her comeback in television

Allyce Beasley and her then husband Vincent Schiavelli Allyce Beasley made it into the headlines once again and this time it is for her guest appearance in the television series, Medium. She will assay the role in the eighteenth episode of Season 5, “The Talented Ms. Boddicker,” which released on the 25th of May, 2009. The title is almost reminiscent of the Matt Damon Hollywood flick, “Talented Mr. Ripley.” However, there is hardly anything common between the two other than the fact that there striking resemblance in the two titles.

Allyce Beasley will play the title role of Ms. Boddicker who shares the protagonist’s gift to make predictions. Beasley is a quirky bank teller and she predicts a bank robbery in the bank where she works. On the other hand, the television series’ protagonist, Allison Dubois, played by Patricia Arquette, dreams about Ms. Boddicker and later goes on to meet her. The ardent followers of “Medium” will know that the series is based on supernaturalism. Allison acts as the medium for Phoenix, Arizona district attorney’s office.

Few will know that Beasley’s original name was Alice Tannenberg when she was born in New York. She has been a fighter throughout her life and has even overcome the deadly breast cancer. She is a world acclaimed actor who has been nominated for an Emmy Award. One of her most memorable roles was the character that she played in the immensely popular television series, Moonlighting. Her fans will remember her role of a love-struck rhyming receptionist Agnes DiPesto. She also appeared in the brief role of a guidance counselor in the Hollywood chick flick, Legally Blonde.
