Allen set to party at The Ritz
April 20th, 2011 - 4:01 am ICT by IANSLondon, April 20 (IANS) Singer Lily Allen will celebrate her hen party at The Ritz hotel in London because she wants some “glamour” on her last day of singlehood.
Allen, who will marry fiance Sam Cooper June 11, plans to mark the end of her days as a single woman by gathering a large group of friends together at the posh hotel.
“Lily wants to bring some glamour to her hen night. She’s been joking that she’s old so wants a good pot of tea, scones and knitting, but knowing Lily it will no doubt turn into chaos,” a source told the Daily Star newspaper.
According to femalefirst.co.uk, her close pal and chief bridesmaid, TV presenter Miquita Oliver, is helping her organise the party.
A source said: “Lily and Miquita have been friends since childhood so there was always going to be a good chance she would be the maid of honour. Miquita knows Lily inside out and is bound to put on a great party for the hen do. They’ve grown up a bit now but both of them still know how to hit it hard.”
