All fine between dad and me: Beyonce

London, May 14 (IANS) Singer Beyonce, who dropped her father Mathew as her manager, insists there are no hard feelings between the two and her father is still her support system.
Beyonce has been guided by her father ever since she first began her career in band Destiny’s Child in the late 1990s. But the two parted ways earlier this year.
“It’s not that anything bad happened between us. My family always has my support, and they support me, but when you’ve been working with the same people for 15 years, it’s natural to eventually have your own ideas,” contactmusic.com quoted her as saying.
“I believe that parents prepare their kids for that moment when they’re on their own. At this point, I’m taking everything my dad and my mother have taught me, and I’m able to do things my way. We were at a point where we’d learned so much from each other, and now it’s exciting for me to do this on my own and hire my own team,” she said.
