Dec 15, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Hardly any non-Russian knew who Alina Kabaeva is. And now she is all famous, although for the wrong reasons. The Russians call the 27 year old lady, the “mistress” of Vladimir Putin, while the rest of the world asks “who is she?” Not anymore, as very tactfully, the lady has come up with a better solution to gain an international attention, by posing for the “Vogue” magazine, that would be released this January.

However, Alina Kabaeva’s featuring in the magazine has been met with intense criticism. Many people are still wondering, what made the new editor of the magazine, Viktoria Davydova, take the decision to feature her. It is not that the lady is not famous. She has been an Olympic gymnast a few years ago, and a politician in the lower parliament. But that cannot substantiate the decision of featuring her in “Vogue” cover page. It is speculated that having Alina Kabaeva in the magazine cover might irritate the Prime Minister, who is currently combating the media allegation that has claimed that he has left his wife Ludmila Putin and his two daughters for his mistress. In the past, there has been yet another humiliating allegation against the two, that claimed Alina Kabaeva to have given birth to Vladimir Putin’s baby.

However, the prime minister furiously claimed that there is “not one word of truth”. Even Alina Kabaeva’s spokesperson said that it is all “nonsense.” However, she has never revealed the identity of the father of her son, whom she gave birth to last year. Although the two have always denied any romance brewing between them, a St. Petersburg wedding planning firm once said that the couple had contacted them in 2008.
