Nov.20, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Alexandra Kerry was arrested for an alleged drunk driving session. She is the eldest daughter of Senator John Kerry.

Kerry is an aspiring director and producer. She was arrested for drinking under influence. Alexandra is currently producing a documentary that is based on the book “The End of America: A Letter of Warning to a Young Patriot” by Naomi Wolf.

Kerry was arrested early in Thursday morning, around 12:40 a.m, according to the reports of the police officers. She was stopped by the police at a traffic signal as she seemed to show signs of being under the influence of alcohol. She was pulled over and taken to the police station for a breathalyzer test, where she was identified as the daughter of Senator Kerry. Alcohol amount in her blood was reported to be 0.06%. She was however released after it was found that she had not crossed the legal limit for drinking and driving after the test was conducted. However, a bail of 5000 dollars had to be paid before she was released just before 6 in the morning, some five hours after she had been arrested.

Senator Kerry has refused to comment on the issue that he considers is absolutely “private”. Spokesperson for the Massachusetts Democrat, Jodi Seth, said that Senator Kerry supports his daughter completely and that there was no question of drunk driving. She insisted that Alexandra was pulled over as the registration for her driving license had expired. However, she did admit that a breathalyzer test had been conducted. This is not Kerry’s first tryst with negative publicity, she had earlier been much criticized for the see through dress that she wore at the Cannes festival.
