Alexa Ray Joel is the new face of Prell, just like her mother Christie Brinkley

New York, Apr 14 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Singer Alexa Ray Joel has been named as the new face of Prell. She is basically following in the footsteps of her mother Christie Brinkley, who was also the face of the hair care brand, almost quarter of a century ago, in the 1980’s.
Alexa confirmed that she is the new model for Prell in a statement, which said that, “I am so excited and honored to be named the new face of Prell — especially following in the footsteps of my mother.” The advertisement would be even more special for Alexa, as her music would also be an integral part of the commercial. The new Prell commercials would be telecast in the spring and in the summer too.
This deal certainly marks a volte-face for the singer who was admitted recently in a Manhattan hospital, after she overdosed on pills. After her discharge from the hospital, she had thanked everyone for their love and support. She had said in a statement that she wanted to thank “everyone for their outpouring of love and support.” Later through her Facebook page, she shared that she had “many exciting new developments for the New Year,” including “new creative projects”.
