Reportedly, the couple sat with their lawyers, in Surrey mansion, to legally conclude their marriage of 11 months. Sources say, Katie Reid was quite sure about terminating the relationship but Alex Reid broke into tears, while he was asked to sign the papers. He even begged to the lady to give him a second chance to prove himself and recall what made her fell in love with him.

However, it seems that Katie Price is breaking the marriage because her partner did not turn out to be the one, with whom she fell in love and got married. She said to a reputed source, that when they got married, Alex Reid was a simple man, with no interest in fame or showbiz. She loved the “easy going athlete” in him, and that is what made her marry him. However, according to Katie Price, after the marriage, Alex Reid completely transformed into a “fame obsessed” person, which became rather unacceptable for the lady. Moreover, Alex Reid’s bank balance is no comparison to that of Katie Price and she has been sponsoring his expenses for the last few months. While settling their separation legally, Alex Reid asked for 1million from his soon-to-be ex-wife. However, the lady curtailed it down to only 250,000, which was the money they earned during their marriage. The fighter, who was not too happy with the amount, said that the money would not even give him a proper accommodation.

Later on, he cried and said that perhaps, Katie Price has never loved him. He also feels that he has been used and abused by her, as apparently, Katie Price could not get over her ex-husband. On the other hand, some sources are under the impression that the lady is breaking up with the athlete, only because of her growing intimacy with WBA light-welterweight champ Amir Khan. However, the latter said that he is not a “marriage wrecker” and refuted the rumor.
