New Orleans, March 18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) On Wednesday, Alex Chilton, the famous guitarist and songwriter breathed his last. According to reports, the musical performer died after complaining of heart problem. The fifty-nine year old died in a New Orleans Hospital where he was rushed to on Wednesday, after he complained of some heart problem and latter died of a probable heart complications.

Alex Chilton, whose work as a guitarist in “Box Tops” and “Big Star” has gained him popularity among the music lovers, was scheduled to perform this Saturday with the “Big Star” in Austin, Texas’ South by Southwest music festival. Brent Grulke, the creative director of the scheduled show after hearing the death news, has reportedly praised Alex Chilton as a person who was gifted with special talent. He also mentioned that while the singer baffled his audience with his music, at the same time he also amused and charmed everybody. Alex Chilton has strummed some of the best music for the music lovers and had remained one of the most popular guitarists. Brent Grulke asserted that Alex Chilton was a musician of the “highest caliber” who made his listeners ponder over the lyrics of the song.

Alex Chilton has been reportedly complaining of chest pain for few days. However, his sudden death has come as a shock to his family. On Wednesday, John Fry, the owner of the Ardent Studio, who has also remained in close association with the Alex Chilton, confirmed the death of the guitarist. He also mentioned to the media that the wife of the guitarist is shocked by the sudden and unexpected loss.
