Alesha Dixon gets proposed by Takomborerwa Mnzarura during BGT
February 21st, 2012 - 10:38 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLondon, Feb 21 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Studio audience attendees say Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon looked uncomfortable when she got a proposal from an unlikely place – one of the contestants of the show.
The Daily Star Sunday reports that wannabe star Takomborerwa Mnzarura got on one knee and popped the question during the audition in Birmingham. The other judges seemed to enjoy the spectacle as they urged him on.
The report say Alesha looked quite uncomfortable and was frantically looking for a place to fix her gaze. After the fine art of proposing, Alesha calmly looked at the contestant and gave him the bubble splitting words “Thanks that’s very sweet but no thanks.”
Simon Cowell who is a judge on the show was one of the fellow judges who urged the contestant on to pop the question.
The Daily Star report quoted a source in the audience as saying that, “It was hilarious. Alesha didn’t know where to look and seemed to find it uncomfortable. But the more she squirmed the more Simon and the other judges egged the guy on.”
Britain’s Got Talent is one of the most successful television talent hunt shows in the United Kingdom. The audition for a fresh season of the show is currently ongoing in Britain.
