Los Angeles, Dec 22 (THAINDIAN NEWS) According to reports, actor Alec Baldwin wasn’t comfortable shooting in the buff, and show off his butt for the movie ‘It’s Complicated’. So he insisted on getting a butt double to do the job.

Alec Baldwin stars opposite Meryl Streep in the comedy movie ‘It’s Complicated’ and he needs to strip off in one scene in which he has to seduce the character played by Meryl Streep. The director of the movie Nancy Meyers has also confirmed that the butt shown in the movie, isn’t that of Alec Baldwin, but of another artist.

Meryl Streep also confirmed it, when she said that, “He said, ‘Mine’s beautiful. However, I don’t want to do that.’”

However even though it is a seducing scene, Meryl Streep isn’t striping in the movie. She has the female director to thank for that. “Well, the director is a woman, and she wants to protect her leading lady,” Baldwin tells USA Today. “And the men are just toys to her. I was like a little Ken doll. A 51-year-old Ken doll.”

Meanwhile Alec Baldwin fans will get to see him as the host of the Oscars. As the Academy had unveiled the new hosts for the next awards function in 2010, and the hosts are Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin. Alec Baldwin has also been an Academy Award nominee himself. He also stars in the U.S. television comedy 30 Rock, said that, “”I don’t play the banjo but I’m thrilled to be hosting the Oscars - it’s the opportunity of a lifetime.”
