alec1 May 17, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Although Alec Baldwin was unable to create a record related to viewership during his hosting at the culmination of season 35 of ‘Saturday Night Live’ (SNL), the 52-year-old actor has leveled Steve Martin’s record for hosting the program 15 times. Alec Baldwin concluded season 35 of SNL on May 15. Baldwin could not succeed in creating a record associated with viewership like the graceful and ageless Betty White did a week prior to him on SNL.

During his monologue, Baldwin was supplemented by his ‘It’s Complicated’ co-star, Steve Martin, who came into sight through satellite. Just before Baldwin switched off the connection, Martin elucidated that he desires to show gratitude to all his buddies at Facebook Mexico for requesting that Martin come into view in this ‘Saturday Night Live’ monologue.

During his ‘SNL’ monologue, the ‘30 Rock’ superstar vocalized humorously that, from this time forth, he would want everyone to refer to him as Dr. Alec Baldwin, OB/GYN.

Besides hosting the show, Baldwin also made emergences on the series’ sketches. He enacted a character opposite Kristen Wiig in a television program called ‘Arizona Evenings’. He later came into view in a blond wig, enacting the role of a father to an abnormally clingy teenager, Bedelia, enacted by Nasim Pedrad. He was then spotted in a sketch where he acted out Greek Costas in Kenan Thompson’s chronic sex seminar.

The ending of season 35 of ‘Saturday Night Live’ had Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers as the musical guests. They executed their two songs, ‘I Should Have Known It’, and ‘Jefferson Jericho Blues’, from their imminent record “Mojo”.
