Los Angeles, Dec 12 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Alec Baldwin’s war against the airline industry is ongoing. The actor was thrown off an America Airline flight last week after he failed to switch his phone off on the request of a hostess. Though the actor later apologized for his action, he was careful to ensure that the world knew that he was not apologizing to the airline industry.

He took the feud on the set of Saturday Night Live. The actor was on the show dressed as a pilot of America Airlines. When news anchor Seth Meyers asked Baldwin about the incident last Tuesday, he faked being the pilot and issued an apology saying, “It was awful. That’s why it was very important for me to come here and on behalf of everyone at American Airlines issue an apology to Mr. Alec Baldwin… an American treasure.”

Still playing the pilot, Baldwin mocked the safety procedure of the airline including how its pilots carry themselves in the cockpit.

American Airlines confirmed last week that they threw the 30 Rock actor from their flight from Los Angeles to New York. Te airline has not revealed if they will take further actions against the actor. Analysts say a complaint against the actor could result in a fine from the Federal Aviation Authority.
