alec1May 17, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin have one thing in common and after the “Saturday Night Live” season ending show on last Saturday, it is not hard to guess. Alec Baldwin played the host of the “Saturday Night Live” finale show on May 15 and became the second person after Steve Martin to host the show for 15 times. However, appearing in the show for the fifteenth time did not make Alec Baldwin a boring repetitive host. Alec Baldwin was able to pull the viewers towards the “Saturday Night Live” on May 15.

Though many found him falling short of the Betty White show which was according to many the best of the “Saturday Night Live”, Alec Baldwin had his own moment of glory in the show and made people laugh out loud with his monologue and light-hearted jokes that was for most of the times directed towards his own life and achievements. Alec Baldwin made it a point to make his audience remember that with the hosting of the 15th episode of the sketch comedy, he is 14 shows ahead of Betty White who hosted recently the special mother’s day episode of the “Saturday Night Live”.

To mark the occasion of his entering into a tie with Steve Martin the show went on to play a videotape monologue of Steve Martin who was cut short at the middle by Alec Baldwin. He also joked about the honorary doctorate degree that he has received from the New York University and said that he wished to be known as “Dr. Baldwin, OB/GYN.” Alec Baldwin also went to appear in a comedy strip in “Saturday Night Live” along with Kristin Wiig.
