Alec Baldwin is planning to leave ‘30 Rock’ after the end of his contract in 2012

Alec Baldwin Los Angeles, July 8 (THAINDIAN NEWS) There is a strong buzz in the air that actor Alec Baldwin is planning to leave the show ’30 Rock’, when his contract with the production house expires in 2012. He enacts the character of Jack Donaghy on the show and has recently received his fourth Emmy nomination for it, as well. He has also won two Emmy awards.

However he wants to spend some time away from the public eye. Even though acting is his first love, yet the 52-year-old actor recently confessed that he would love to have some time to himself and do some other things as well. He is well aware that at 52 years, the clock is ticking away, so he feels a desperate rush to experience and do other things in life as well.

According to CNN, the actor said that, “As much as I like acting. I know that I would love to have a different life. A private life. I think that doing this now for a living has become really, really hard. I would rather go do other things, and with whatever amount of time I have left in my life, have a normal life.”

Alec Baldwin and Steve Carrell have been nominated for the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series category at the Emmy’s. Their other competitors in this category are Larry David (”Curb Your Enthusiasm”), Matthew Morrison (”Glee”), Tony Shalhoub (”Monk”) and Jim Parsons (”The Big Bang Theory”).
