Hollywood, Nov 1 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The director of the 23rd James Bond movie has drafted Albert Finney into the project. The name of the movie has not been officially given but reports say the project will be called “Skyfall.”

Filming of the movie is currently ongoing at the Pinewood Studios and the director says Finney will be joining the cast this week. The 75-year-old survived a fight against prostate cancer and he is currently on remission. That makes his inclusion into the movie shocking.

Nonetheless a source close to the director Sam Mendes says he is very part of the project. He will be playing the role of a Foreign Office diplomat whose authority will be beyond the Secret Intelligence Service.

During an interview with British’s Daily Mail, a source close to Mendes revealed that “It was one of those fabulous, ‘This can’t get any better!’ moments because Mendes has upped the game by bringing in Bardem and Fiennes - and they’ve already got Dame Judi Dench . So, you think, who else can they get to make this any classier?”

The other casts of the James Bond movie are Dame Judi Dench, Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes and Javier Bardem. The movie is expected to released in 2012.
