Al Pacinos watch in Righteous Kill sparks lawsuitJanuary 23rd, 2009 - 2:04 pm ICT by ANI
London, January 23 (ANI): A company whose watch has been worn by Al Pacino in his film Righteous Kill has been sued by the producers, after it refused to pay money to advertise its timepiece on screen.
Bosses at the production house Millennium Films approached Los Angeles County Superior Court after the company refused to cough up money.
The producers claim that the watchmaker has failed to pay the arranged fee of 35,000 pounds to show a three-second close-up shot of one of their watches, reports the Daily Express.
According to TMZ.com, they are also claiming 700,000 pounds in advertising that Tutima allegedly said they would purchase. (ANI)
