Akshay Kumar Wants To Release Action Replayy During Diwali

June 30, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Vipul Shah was planning to release his latest venture Action Replayy during Eid or post Diwali but the superstar of the film Akshay Kumar wants a Diwali release. Akshay called up Shah to ask him to opt for a Diwali release although a big franchise film Golmaal 3 is already scheduled to release at the same time.
Last year, Akshay starrer Blue, flopped after a Diwali release so everybody must have thought he would never want the same time of release again. But, the star has gone against the tide and decided to release the movie during Diwali. Apart from acting as lead hero, Akshay is also co-producing Action Replayy.
The director Vipul Shah said, “You might get surprised to know that Akshay wants to release Action Replayy during this Diwali in spite of Blue flopping last Diwali. We can’t forget that Akshay’s film Garam Masala released in Diwali was a big hit.”
In fact, Akshay has a good reason behind a Diwali release. The Bollywood “khiladi’ believes that a film like Action Replayy, which is full of fun and crazy things, can keep the bad omen away during the festive season.
Shah added, “We expect both the films Action Replayy and Golmaal 3 to do well. But, given the condition, if only one has to succeed then may the best film win. We hope to be the better one.”
Audiences can expect good enjoyment during Diwali with Action Replayy.
