Kuala Lumpur, May 29 (ANI): R ‘n’ B star Akon will be enthralling thousands of Malaysian fans when he stages his concert there on July 2.

Often called Mr. Lonely for his single status, the singer will be belting out his hits in the “Akon Freedom Beach Party 2009″ organised by Marctensia Sdn Bhd at the Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach in Petaling Jaya at 8pm.

“The concert will definitely be banging as it combines Akon’s hottest club tunes mixed with the atmosphere of a beach party,” The Star Online quoted the company’s marketing and communication department head Michael Chan as saying.

“Akon promises to give his fans an unforgettable experience with his talented showmanship. One second he will be dabbling in emo-pop with Lonely and the next he will be singing about the street life in Ghetto,” Chan added.

The event organiser is also offering fans an exclusive early-bird nationwide sale from June 1 to 7 with 15 per cent off tickets sold via official ticketing agent Axcess Tickets Sdn Bhd.

Tickets are priced at RM88, RM138 and RM188. All tickets are free standing. (ANI)
