Akon strips down for fans
April 29th, 2011 - 7:46 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, April 29 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Akon stripped to the boxers for his fans during a performance on Wednesday. The R&B singer was part of the entourage that accompanied Usher during his “OMG Tour.” There will be 21 concerts during the tour.
During a performance in Sunrise, Florida, Akon started taking off his clothes and stripped until he was wearing only his boxers and socks. There are several other artists who will be accompanying Usher during the tour. The tour will end on the 21st of June after a performance at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Akon’s recent performance took place at the Bank Atlantic Center. It will no doubt give him the attention that he needs ahead of the release of his next album. The singer’s next album release has been delayed but reports say it will be released on the 20th of September. It is now official that his single with Chris Brown ‘Take It Down Low’ has been dropped.
Akon has enjoyed tremendous success with his career. With a Senegalese background, Akon has overcome his accent to release some hit songs including “Smack That” and others. His next album is titled “Stadium.”
