July 20, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): After nearly 5 months of vivid discussions, Ajith Kumar has finalized the team for his 50th film. As mentioned earlier, Venkat Prabhu will be wielding the megaphone for his 50th film titled “Mangaatha’. Produced by Dayanidhi Azhagiri under the banner of Cloud Nine Productions, the film warrants a special mention for being a multi-starrer.

Of course, multi-starrer films aren’t so common in Kollywood but soon after the South Indian Artists Association’s President Sarath Kumar requested the actors; the change seems to have happened. Yeah! Ajith’s “Mangaatha’ will have the Tollywood superstar Nagarjuna sharing the screen space along with the Telugu actor Manoj Manchu. Bollywood’s hot and happening Neethu Chandra has been signed for performing female lead role while talks are going on with a Malayalam superstar to be a part of this project.

Since, Venkat Prabhu is planning to make the film simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu, he has been signing the prominent stars from both the film industries. Just as in Venkat Prabhu’s previous films, Yuvan Shankar Raja will score music, the cinematography will be handled by Sakthi Saravanan.

Producer Dayanidhi Azhagiri is planning to launch the film in grandeur by the last week of July and the film’s shooting is scheduled to take off from the second week of August.
