Ajay Devgn’s ‘Phool Aur Kante’ stunt in ‘Crackers’ (Movie snippets)

Shaan New Delhi, June 17 (IANS) Remember Ajay Devgn’s famous stunt where he balanced on two bikes in his debut film “Phool Aur Kaante”? Movie buffs will get to see a similar act in Anil Goyal’s 3D animation film “Crackers”.

“I have been a huge fan of Ajay since the time he entered the industry. Now that I have become a director, I wanted to use one of my favorite scenes performed by the actor,” said Goyal.

“The stunt had become very famous at that time. It had made Ajay’s debut in the movie ‘Phool Aur Kaante’ a big hit. So I just thought of using it in my movie,” he added.

“Crackers” is based on 26/11 terror attack on Mumbai. The songs in the film have been sung by Hariharan, Shaan and Shreya Ghoshal.


‘Love Breakups Zindagi’ has taken my life: Zayed Khan

Zayed Khan says “Love Breakups Zindagi”, his debut production venture, has been the most challenging assignment.

Zayed teamed up with actress Diya Mirza and director Sahil Sanga to launch the production house Born Free Entertainment under which “Love Breakups Zindagi” is being made.

“It (the film) has taken my life. ‘Love Breakups Zindagi’ started off as an idea in our heads a year back and I am so happy to know that I have got great partners in director Sahil (Sanga), and Diya (Mirza) and bring this idea into reality,” said Zayed.

“It is a slice of life film. It’s about people like you and me and what is their take on love and break-ups,” he added.

Born Free Entertainment is co-producing the film with Sahara Motion Pictures. Tisca Chopra and Cyrus Sahukar also feature in it.


Preity to give IIFA a miss

Bollywood actress Preity Zinta will not be attending the International Indian Film Academy awards this year to be held in Toronto due to work commitments.

“Sorry guys! This year I will Not be able 2 attend IIFA Toronto as I am working on a movie. Sad cuz I’m really going to miss all the fun (sic),” Preity wrote on microblogging site Twitter.

Last seen in a song in the 2009 movie “Main Aurr Mrs Khanna”, the actress took a break from acting to concentrate on her Indian Premier League team Kings XI Punjab.
