New Delhi, Oct 7 (IANS) Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn has pulled off many stunts in his career, but this was unique. He went ahead and broke a glass bottle on his director friend Rohit Shetty’s head on the sets of Zee TV’s “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar”.The duo, along with Kareena Kapoor, Kunal Khemu, Shreyas Talpade and Tusshar Kapoor, made a special appearance on the show for the music release of their upcoming film “Golmaal 3″.

Ajay did the stunt in good fun, after music director duo Sajid-Wajid coaxed the usually reticent actor to sing a song for the audience. The actor gave in to their request and sang “Mere naina sawan bhadon”.

After fulfilling their demand, Ajay asked the composers to do a stunt that he chose to demonstrate - he broke a bottle on Shetty’s head and the latter started bleeding. When Ajay asked Sajid-Wajid to be ready for the same, they chickened out, said a source from the sets.

But guess who was sporting enough?

It was the show’s new host, actor Manish Paul, who ended up getting the bottle cracked on his derriere. The episode will be telecast Sunday.

Ashmit asks Sara Khan to quit smoking

Not even a week into Colors’ “Bigg Boss 4″, actors Ashmit Patel and Sara Khan’s friendship is there for all to see. And now, Ashmit is even trying to convince Sara to kick the butt.

“Sara apparently started smoking after ‘Bidaai’. She smokes about one or two cigarettes a day, but Ashmit tried discouraging her to do so as it is harmful for her health. They have struck a good friendship on the show,” a source told IANS.

Mallika Sherawat threatens to give ’snakebite’!

Mallika Sherawat seems to be taking her role of a snake woman in her forthcoming film “Hisss” too seriously. She went and threatened to give a snake bite to the judges of Zee TV’s “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar”!

Imagine the plight of the judges - Sajid-Wajid, Vishal-Shekhar and Daler Mehndi, when the sensational actress warned them that if they pass any negative comments, she will give them a snake bite, said a source from the sets.

The judges tried to adhere to her instructions and even had fun dancing with her on her popular song “Maiyya maiyya”.

The “Hisss” special episode will be on air Saturday.

Ranbir Kapoor loves ‘Do Dooni Chaar’

Yesteryears actors Neetu and Rishi Kapoor are returning to the big screen together in a full-fledged role after 30 years and their son Ranbir Kapoor loved their comeback film “Do Dooni Chaar”, about a middle-class man and his struggle to buy a car.

“Ranbir loved the film. When I asked him for an honest opinion - whether the film needs any revision or it requires any changes, Ranbir said, ‘the film is perfect. Don’t touch it, it is brilliant the way it is. In fact, if you change it you’ll ruin the film’,” said director Habib Faizal
