Aishwarya Rai Bachchan gives birth to a baby girl

Mumbai, Nov 16 (THAINDIAN NEWS) One of India’s best known couple’s Aishwarya Rai and husband Abhishek Bachchan have welcomed their first baby into their family. The baby was reportedly born after doctors induced labor on Wednesday.
The former Miss World was rushed to the hospital by her husband and in-laws Amitabh and Jaya on Monday. She remained in labor until the doctors assisted her to deliver the daughter who is no doubt very lucky to be born into the family.
Like many other entertainment-craze countries, being born by celebrities in India offers a huge leap. Aishwarya and Bachchan forms one of the most powerful Bollywood clans in India.
The child is born into a family that includes India’s most celebrated actor Amitabh Bachchan. The baby’s grandmother is also Jaya Bhaduri who is one of Bollywood’s most famous faces. Analysts believe that the chances of the child becoming a Bollywood legend in the future are very bright.
A Bollywood historian, SMM Ausaya told BBC that about 10 prominent Bollywood families control more than half of the industry’s fortunes.
He explained that, “The family element really came in because the producer preferred his own son to come in rather than somebody else.”
Aishwarya won the Miss World contest in 1994.
