Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan: The Deadly Duo In Kolkata For KHJJS Premiere

The first couple of B-town had turned up in traditional attire at the venue, keeping in mind the basic backdrop of the film which has the Chittagong uprising in the 1930’s undivided British India as the backdrop. The film has all the characters dressed in the typical dress code prevalent during the pre- independent era.
Both the husband and wife had a completely co-coordinating attire which spelled class in every sense of the term. Aishwarya looked ravishing in a red and white sari which she had draped in the traditional Bengali style and Abhishek was in a beige silk kurta pajama set that looked elegant and very traditional, making them look like a picture perfect couple from an old Bengali film.
Even as the couple strode with a complete down-to-earth attitude, the on lookers just couldn’t take their eyes off the most beautiful couple who looked so lovingly into each other’s eyes.
The couple had also attended a popular Awards function in the city’s Science city auditorium on Saturday evening where they were both bestowed with the Best Actor and Best Actress awards for the Mani Ratnam flick Raavan. The awards ceremony had seen the duo dressed to kill as well. Aishwarya was splendor divine in her green zardozi sari and Abhishek rocked with his black tuxedo.
The spirit of Kolkata’s love and warmth for the couple was evident at both the events and the couple too loved every moment of their stay in Kolkata. Well it seemed like the festive season had arrived with a bang in the city!
