December 14th, 2009 - 4:03 pm ICT by Sampurn Wire ( Leave a comment )The most-talked about controversy ever in Kannada films, that of director Nagathihalli Chandrasekhar slapping actress Aindrita Ray has been put to rest. The issue was resolved in a meeting between the Artists Association President Ambarish and Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce President Dr. Jayamala.
The director and the actress have been asked to not discuss the issue any further and complete the shooting of the film, “Nooru Janmaku’. The meeting that went on for three hours on Friday evening solved the problem with both the director and the actress admitting to their mistakes.
Dr. Jayamala, who is a popular actress, reprimanded Nagathihalli Chandrasekhar for slapping Aindrita Ray and asked him who had given him the right to slap artistes.
