After 25 Long Years, Larry King Signs Off For The Last Time

Larry KingDec 17, (THAINDIAN NEWS) After 25 glorious years at the age of 77, veteran talks show host Larry King finally bid adieu to his talk show program on Thursday as a variety of high-profile celebrity guests joined him to take the final steps in the completion of his iconic chat show. Despite the fact that the legendary television host had made the announcement in the month of June this year that he would be retiring from the program, ultimately when the last episode of ‘Larry King Live’ underwent last night, its large number of fans who have watched the show for decades, could not help but feel extremely disappointed.

It hardly needs to be mentioned that the last episode of ‘Larry King Live’ was able to garner huge amount of viewership as all the ardent followers of the television icon did not want to miss out the opportunity to catch the show for the very last time. Despite the disappointment, the fans of the veteran host know for sure that it might mark the end of the television show but definitely not Larry King’s illustrious television career. As his longtime friend Bill Maher rightly said on the show that it marked the ‘end of the show, not the end of a man.’

Over the period of 25 years in ‘Larry King Live,’ the television legend brushed shoulders with a number of highly-acclaimed figures from world of politics as well as glitz and glamor. In his impeccable style, Larry King concluded his iconic show by just saying ‘instead of a goodbye, how about so long.’ The celebrated host would now be working on special projects with CNN.
