Afghan minister meets Shivraj Patil

New Delhi, July 24 (ANI): Afghanistans Local Governance Minister Jelani Popal today met Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil.
The two leaders exchanged views about the structure, powers and functions of local bodies in the two countries.
Both also expressed desire to further strengthen the bilateral relations between India and Afghanistan.
Jelani is leading a seven-member team to study the local self-governance in India.
Those present at the meeting included Secretary (Border Management) in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Shri Jarnail Singh. (ANI)
