Affleck, Damon team up for gangster biopic
October 26th, 2011 - 7:06 am ICT by IANSLos Angeles, Oct 26 (IANS) Actors Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are set to reunite after 10 years for a biopic of New England’s most notorious gangster, Whitley Bulger.
“Matt and I have been looking for something to do together for some time. We’ve heard about Whitley Bulger since we were kids, and we are excited by the prospect of putting it on screen,” said Affleck.
Both the actors earlier teamed up for 1997 film “Good Will Hunting” for which they also won an Oscar.
While Affleck will direct the film, Damon will play the role of Bulger. Both of them will produce the movie under their banner, Pearl Street Films, reports aceshowbiz.com.
