Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler going solo
November 5th, 2009 - 9:20 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLondon, Nov 5 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler is thinking about a solo career. He told a United Kingdom magazine that he plans to pursue some solo projects in the near future.
“I don’t know what I’m doing yet,” Tyler told Classic Rock magazine, “but it’s definitely going to be something Steven Tyler, working on the brand of myself. Brand Tyler,” he said.
On the other hand his band mates are being very strict with him, as they want him to sober up and join them back or else they would look for a replacement. That could include “either the announcement of a long hiatus or even possibly include carrying on with a new lead vocalist,” Classic Rock reported.
“It would largely depend on who we could get and who would want to do it. That’s big shoes to fill,” guitarist Brad Whitford said. “Nobody could replace Steven or imitate him, he’s one of a kind. But if somebody was willing to do it and the chemistry was right, why not?”
