Adopt homeless dogs, Dino Morea urges
October 5th, 2011 - 4:47 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Oct 5 (IANS) Actor Dino Morea has posed with his rescued dog Slidey and is promoting the adoption of homeless dogs in a PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) campaign.
The model-turned-actor said Slidey was rescued by his parents when they were living in Bangalore after his younger brother saw the dog was being attacked by some children.
And the “Pyaar Impossible” actor feels if one has the right resources, one should not shy away from providing shelter to a homeless dog.
“I think adopting homeless animals, if one has the time, the space and has resources to actually care for them, I think is a wonderful idea,” the 35-year-old said in a statement.
An ad featuring the actor and the dog reads, “Compassion Is the Fashion. Adopt a Homeless Dog”. It was shot by photographer Joy Datta.
