Mumbai, Dec 4 (IANS) Pakistani singer Adnan Sami says his forthcoming album “Ek Ladki Diwani Si” is a tribute to the Mumbai city.
“Mumbai has gone through lots of stuff but it has never stopped… The city kept moving and that is something very, very unique,” Adnan told reporters at a radio station where he came to promote his album.
There is song in the album titled “Lets go to Mumbai City” and Jermaine, brother of late pop legend Michael Jackson, has also lent his voice for the song.
“It is basically a romantic album, but this particular song is on Mumbai.”
Asked how he roped in Jermaine for the song, Adnan said: “He wanted to sing with me. He made a song ‘Lets go to crystal city’ but I said make it ‘Lets got to Mumbai city’ and he immediately jumped on the idea.”
