Adele wins Grammy for ‘21′

Los Angeles, Feb 13 (IANS) Singer Adele won the Grammy award for best pop solo performance for her song “Someone Like You” from her album “21″, which was named the best pop vocal album at the ceremony here.
The 23-year-old pipped singers like Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry and Pink for the best pop solo performance title at the 54th edition of the prestigious music awards ceremony.
Others albums which competed in the best pop vocal album category included: “The Lady Killer” (Cee Lo Green), “Born This Way” (Lady Gaga), “Doo-Wops & Hooligans” (Bruno Mars) and “Loud” (Rihanna).
