New York City, June 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Adele has announced the rescheduled dates for her previously cancelled tour in North America. The singer initially cancelled the planned tour because of laryngitis. The new date for the start of the tour is the 9th of August when she will play her first concert at Vancouver.

The tour will wrap up in the United States on the 24th of August. In the United States, Adele will be in Miami, Florida, Atlantic City, North Carolina, Orlando, Durham, Atlantic City and Spring, Texas.

Adele has been struggling with her health but that has done very little to stop her surge to the top of the charts. Her current album “21” is currently enjoying massive success. The album has stayed on the top of the charts for 10 of the last 17 weeks.

Senior vice president of analytics at Nielsen SoundScan explained that Adele has been hugely successful this year because “of her fanbase. You’ve got a song that’s performing very, very well, still being discovered by new people every week. You’ve got an artist here who wasn’t a household name prior to this record coming out, so you do still have that discovery process going on with her.”
