Adele plans to move out of London?
December 18th, 2011 - 10:40 am ICT by IANSLondon, Dec 18 (IANS) Singer Adele, who recently underwent a vocal chords surgery, has plans to move out of London due to fears that pollution levels could damage her voice.
The 23-year-old award-winning singer is looking for a new home in West Sussex, to aid her recovery from her throat surgery for a haemorrhaged vocal chord, last month, reports dailymail.co.uk.
Ironic as it may seem, Adele’s first hit in 2007, “Chasing pavements”, included the lyrics: ‘I like it in the city when the air is so thick and opaque.”
“The operation went well but she still needs to take good care of herself. Adele is a London girl through and through, but she’s never been particularly into the showbiz circuit. So when it was suggested she move out of the city, she agreed immediately,” said a source.
Adele is said to be looking at properties priced between two million pounds to three million pounds.
“The idea is for her to live in the countryside, away from the capital’s smog and pollution. She’s desperate to be fit for the Grammys and be back singing as soon as possible,” added the source.
