New York, Feb 13 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Adele gave her first performance since last year when she took the stage at the Grammys last Sunday. The singer performed the track “Rolling in the Deep” during the event which was affected by the passing of Whitney Houston just a day to the event.

Adele received standing ovation after the performance on the night. When Adele was introduced by Gwyneth Paltrow, there were cheers throughout the room as she took the stage. She exceeded expectations for someone who has not performed for so long. Her performance was not the only highlight of the night.

She ended the night by picking up song of the night with the track “Rolling in the Deep.” She thanked her producer Paul Epworth for the success of the song.

Adele’s career was seriously threatened when she cancelled all her scheduled concerts when she underwent throat surgery. Writing on her blog, Adele explained that, “Singing is literally my life. It’s my hobby, my love, my freedom and now my job. I have absolutely no choice but to recuperate properly and fully, or I risk damaging my voice forever.”

The British singer has maintained her natural looks despite the pressure of stardom. She is considered one of the greatest British talents ever.
