‘Addams Family’ in 3-D?
March 19th, 2010 - 6:33 pm ICT by IANSLondon, March 19 (IANS) Director Tim Burton is reportedly planning a 3-D version of popular TV horror-comedy “The Addams Family”.
The director, who wowed audiences with his 3-D version of Lewis Carroll’s classic “Alice In Wonderland”, hopes that the groundbreaking movie technique will resurrect “The Addams Family”, reports contactmusic.com.
Illumination Entertainment has acquired the rights to the original cartoons and the company’s boss Chris Meledandri will act as producer.
“Alice In Wonderland” has so far raked in $447 million at the box office and is the highest grossing film of 2010 to date.
