Adam Sandler blames critics for poor box office ratingAugust 13th, 2008 - 3:30 pm ICT by IANS
London, Aug 13 (IANS) Comic actor Adam Sandler has blamed critics for the poor box office rating of his films saying they always write bad things about his movies, which has influenced the movie going audience. Contactmusic.com reports Sandler, who was last seen in “You Don’t Mess with the Zohan”, usually ignores critics who write bad things on purpose.
He said: “You know what, I don’t even believe half the things they say anymore - they’ve been writing bad stuff about me for a long time. I remember one time this lady came up to me and said ‘I’m not gonna see your movie but my friend said it was good’. And I was like ‘Okay why can’t you see it again?’ and she said, ‘Oh I read that it wasn’t very good’ and I said, ‘What about your friend’ and she was like, ‘Yeah she’s not that smart’.”
