Los Angeles, Nov. 23, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Ever since it was announced that the “American Idol” runner up Adam Lambert was scheduled to take part in the American Music Awards [that was held in Los Angeles on Sunday], there had been a sufficient buzz of curiosity surrounding the entire issue. As was known, expectations were sky high, given Lambert’s “American Idol” performances and popularity. On Sunday night, Lambert managed to live up to all those expectations and even more, when he took to the stage for his evening’s performance.

After Ryan Seacrest introduced the talented musician on stage, Lambert took over and transported the AMA in to another realm. However, his performance did manage to ruffle quite a few feathers. Quite a few of the viewers who had tuned in to the ABC network’s event, took offense at his sexually suggestive act on the number “For Your Entertainment”, where he took the liberty to dish out a “stage make out session” with a band member.

In the words of some viewers, they were suitably “shocked” by all the “bedroom” moves that Adam Lambert chose to adopt for his on-stage performance. This time around, people didn’t get the opportunity to be enthralled by the talented singer’s vocal modulations: they were reportedly kept busy trying to shy away kids in front of the television to view the sexual display. Following the performance, Twitter sphere was thrown in to a frenzied turmoil to combat the after effects. Some stated that the event should have been “rated PG-14″, to caution unsuspecting parents what to expect. Others wrote in distress that they had to cover the eyes of their young kids, to keep them from witnessing what was taking place on screen.
