lambertLos Angeles, Apr 7, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It seems that this year the organizers of the “American Idol” Season 9 are in a mood to infuse some new blood into the show. While in the previous seasons the organizers have chosen mentors who were considered a veteran in the field of music, this year the mentors and many guest judges are young artists who have been able to achieve much within a very short period. After Miley Cyrus and Usher who had appeared in the show mentoring the contestants through the themes of Billboard No.1s and R&B/Soul, it is time for Adam Lambert to mentor the top eight contestants the next week.

Adam Lambert the singer, song-writer from San Diego who had finished runner-up in the “American Idol” Season 8 has revealed to his followers in Twitter that he would not only be performing his single in the next week’s “American Idol” result show on Wednesday, but also would be mentoring the top eight contestants who would perform on Tuesday night. The news was made public on Tuesday by the singer himself who said that he feels honored that the show chose him as a mentor.

The theme for the next week is still not decided by the organizers but according to Adam Lambert he would try to impart some useful advices to the contestant who want to follow his footsteps. He mentioned that though his own musical career has just begun, his experience as an American Idol contestant would help him to provide some insight to the present contestants about the contest. Adam Lambert is “excited” about this new development.
