susan London, Feb 25 (THAINDIAN NEWS) American singer Adam Lambert has said that the Scottish singer Susan Boyle’s version of the Rolling Stones’ hit Wild Horses is terrible. According to him, the album is ‘horrendous’ and it also made him ‘cry with laughter’.

“If only it weren’t for Susan Boyle! I’m happy for her success, but that album is terrible. Wild Horses is the one that made me laugh the hardest. I just died when I heard it, I was crying with laughter. It was the most horrendous, sacrilegious treatment of that song! Still, when my album charted, it was validating. I was feeling bit attacked, like I had to vindicate something. I thought: ‘Wow, look what I did’,” he said.

The 43-year-old Susan Boyle had released her album ‘I Dreamed a Dream’, and her album had succeeded in knocking Adam Lambert off the top perch of the hits list. He had released his album ‘For Your Entertainment’ in November 2009. His album was a success, with sales of 200,000 copies in the very first week alone, but he was displaced from the top slot, by Susan Boyle’s album. He found it very hard to believe that such a terrible album could be such a big commercial success.
