Adam Lambert performs at AMA

Los Angeles, Nov 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) American Idol’s runner up Adam Lambert’s performance in the AMA awards was riveting to say the least. It was a highly raunchy performance that astonished all in the audience.
Then towards the end of the show he warned the audience that it was “about to get rough,” American Idol contestant Adam Lambert closed the show at last night’s American Music Awards by kissing his male keyboardist. He also grinded a dancer’s head against his pelvis to simulate oral sex, then went ahead and grabbed the crotch of a second dancer, and also gave the audience and prime time cameras the finger.
Adam Lambert wanted to be in the news and he sure was. All the publicity might also help in the promotion of his music release today. “We’re in 2009; it’s time to take risks, be a little more brave, time to open people’s eyes and if it offends them, then maybe I’m not for them,” Lambert told Rolling Stone, very openly, “My goal was not to piss people off; it was to promote freedom of expression and artistic freedom.”
The producers of the show claimed that they weren’t aware of the raunchy element in Adam Lambert’s performance, esp. the man-to-man kiss. However Adam Lambert clarified that he would shout ‘discrimination’ if the critical parts of his performance were edited while being shown on TV.
