susanFeb 25, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Musical artist Adam Lambert has managed to create quite a buzz lately, not for his musical talent but for blasting Susan Boyle. The 28 year old singer has criticized the Scottish singing sensation and has described her music as ‘laughable’ in a recent interview. The “American Idol” star slammed his musical rival and termed her music as ‘horrendous’ as well as ‘terrible’.

While talking to a leading magazine for its upcoming issue, Adam Lambert reiterated that although he is happy for the huge success that the “Britain’s Got Talent” star has received, he felt that her album was nothing but ‘terrible’. At the same time, the “American Idol” star also added that the Susan Boyle’s rendition of the popular Rolling Stones’ track ‘Wild Horses’ was the most horrendous treatment of the song that he had ever come across and also went on to say that the song made him cry with laughter.

Although Adam Lambert’s remarks about the 48 year old singer has attracted the ire of all the fans of Susan Boyle, they hardly have much to complain about since he is yet to match the success that the Scottish singer’s debut album “I Dreamed a Dream” has received. Despite the fact that Adam Lambert’s first album ‘For Your Entertainment” sold 200,000 copies in just one week, he was not successful in overtaking Susan Boyle’s extraordinary success. The Scottish singing sensation already boasts of selling an estimated 6 million copies of her album across the world, which become the largest selling album of 2009 in just about six weeks from its release.
